2010.02.09 KAT-TUN on 'King Branch' + 'Yamato' ratings update
hontou ni gomen for not updating these past days! I had some problems with my computer (again) & so I had to get it fixed (again)! I still haven't got my pc back, I'm currently typing this entry at the public library!
Anyway, firstly...KAT-TUN recently went on 王様のブランチ on Feb 6th to promote their new single (which comes out tomorrow)! Here's a pic:

now...moving onto the ratings update...unfortunately it's not good news...ever since ep 1 of Kame's new drama Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge began, the ratings have been dropping each week since ep 2
here's a recap of the ratings so far:
Ep 1: 12.1
Ep 2: 9.3
Ep 3: 7.6
Ep 4: 5.2
But don't let this latest disappointment get to you...although I am disappointed with the ratings, but I personally still really like it & will continue to support it & Kame!
Besides, ratings do NOT reflect on the quality of a drama...many people in Japan may not like the drama, but it's very popular among us international people (fans & non-fans alike)!

KAT-TUN's New Single Promotion Started! [31/1/2010]:
Recently, KAT-TUN members are being active in dramas and movies individually.
However, their new single "Love yourself ～君が嫌いな君が好き～" is going to release on February 10th. Members believe "This work will send our own messages" and it is also the theme song of the drama starring Kamenashi Kazuya "ヤマトナデシコ七変化 / Yamatonadeshiko Shichihenge (The Wallflower)"
As Kamenashi reported in his blog, "This is Kamenashi Kazuya! The promotion activity of our new song is officially started! That's for today." Finally KAT-TUN seems to begin their movement. Though there are still a few days to go before the release date, what kind of activity they will have is more than attractive.
Meanwhile, Kamenashi is busy with filming the drama "The Wallflower".
Kamenashi: "We stayed up till 4am in the filming location a few days ago. We Yamanade (initial of Yamatonadeshiko) team had a hot pot on a stove? or a heater? anyway a warming equipment with solid fuel, watching the stars, falling into the hole, talking and sharing the secrets.... Kyohei (the character played by Kamenashi) felt so happy!"
But...what does "falling into the hole" mean?(laugh)

2010.01.31 KT's 'The D-Motion' performance on 'Music Station' (Jan 29) + D-Motion PV sneak peek!
Gomen gomen for not updating yesterday, but the server fc2 encountered some technical problems & I couldn't log into my account.
Anyway, here's the clip of KAT-TUN's MS performance on Jan 29, with english subs!

they performed 'The D-Motion'...although I like the song & it is catchy, but I have to admit that it's not among my fav songs of theirs...I don't like the fact that it's all entirely auto-tuned, so the guys did not sing live for the performanceso that sort of ruined it a bit for me...I would have liked the song better if it was just partially auto-tuned, so that I can still hear their actual voices!
Oh well...it was still a rather decent performance anywayI only wish that it wasn't all auto-tuned.
The group will be appearing on MS again on Feb 12 & I'm sure they will sing 'Love Yourself' next time! Can't wait!

2010.01.29 'My Boss My Hero' episode 1 screenshots (Koki)!
After I finished making screenshots of my dear aniki Koki from his most recent drama Hissatsu Shigotonin 2009 last year, I took a good break from making screenshots...until today! Now I'm back to making screenshots againand this time my project is the 2006 hit school drama My Boss My Hero, which Koki won multiple awards for his role in the drama as the kawaii & so lovable 'Kazuya'!
So this is another eye candy post for all my fellow Koki fans out there!
These are not HQ, since my internet is still too slow to handle HQ very fast, so I made them smaller...enjoy! I will make ep 2 screenshots next!

2010.01.28 Gokusen: The Movie placed #7 in top 10 domestic movies of 2009!

Just recently today, Tokyograph has posted a report about the domestic films setting a box office record in Japan...included in the report is the top 10 list of most grossed 'domestic' films of last year & the Gokusen movie which Kame had a co-lead role in, came in at #7 with the total grossing last year of about 3.50 billion yen! Omedatou to Kame and the rest of the cast & crew!
