For a long time I've been saving 500 yen coins, and it looked like I had a considerable amount. So today I went to the bank to deposit them!...(moment of silence)...It turned out I had saved...a whopping 300,000 yen!!!!! I guess being frugal pays off. This is why saving money is fun.
I'm going to use the money at the gym to do some 'kaatsu' training I've started lately. ['Kaatsu; 加圧' literally means 'apply pressure'. It is a training method that has been attracting attention in Japan. In English it roughly translates into 'blood flow restriction during low intensity resistance exercise'.] Look forward to seeing me become tremendously buffed up (Don't worry; I probably won't go that far).

[news] Taguchi, Komine return from Hawaiian vacation

Taguchi, Komine return from Hawaiian vacation [Sept 13, 2009]:

The rumored relationship between KAT-TUN's Junnosuke Taguchi (23) and actress Rena Komine (29) appears to still be going strong. On Saturday, they both returned from a vacation they took together in Hawaii.

Taguchi and Komine were seen taking the same flight to Hawaii on September 6, but they returned separately on September 12, possibly to avoid facing the press together. Taguchi flew into Narita Airport in Tokyo, while Komine landed at Kansai International Airport in Osaka.

At the airport, reporters asked Taguchi about the trip, including questions regarding the rumor that this was a "pre-marriage trip," but he gave no comment.

Taguchi and Komine's relationship was first publicly revealed in September 2007. However, both of their agencies have repeatedly denied that they are dating.

Junno's new acting role!

It's been a looonnnngggggg time since I last posted a individual entry on Junno! And good news for his fans, he has a new acting role in a upcoming drama!

Junno to Show ‘SAMURAI LOVE ATTACK’ in Drama! [July 20th 2009]:


Although most of you probably already know, ‘こちら葛飾区亀有公園前派出所 / Kochira Katsushika-Ku Kameari Koen mae Hashutsujo (lit. This is the police station in front of Kameari Park in Katsushika Ward)’ better known as ‘こち亀 / Kochi-Kame’, the long-running hit manga series featured in the popular manga magazine Shonen Jump, will be adapted into a drama starting from August 1st featuring SMAP member Katori Shingo as the lead actor.
KAT-TUN member Taguchi Junnosuke will make a guest appearance in the third episode!
The episode starring Taguchi will be broadcast on August 15th (Sat) from 19:56!
His character’s name is Araki Kakunoshin, and he is a ghost samurai ‘living’ in a haunted mansion!

Speaking of samurai, some diehard fans of Taguchi might remember his solo song ‘SAMURAI LOVE ATTACK’! Taguchi has always looked good in kimono! Fans must be wondering and looking forward to seeing what sort of costume he would wear, and what sort of character he would be!

The Arts
Lately, there have been many people around me who are involved in the arts, and I also have interest in various designs, cultures, etc. For example, things like the traditions and arts of different countries, there are many countries with differing cultures from Japan. From now, I intend to start by looking at such collections. I want to actually go to the country that I’m really interested in!!

Set list
One of these days, I want to create KAT-TUN’s concert’s set list and I start thinking about what is seemingly me. Although up till now, I’ve only conveyed images, I have thoughts like if we do this concretely it’ll be great. Of course, it’s not for me to decide by myself, but as I think it won’t go to waste, I’ll work hard at it.

Power
Not too long ago, I heard that someone went to the Philippines to build a free school, and I thought that don’t we, KAT-TUN, also have such a power to save the world? I thought we could start doing some charity events this year. Though it’s too big a challenge to suddenly talk about the world, firstly I intend to do something that I as an individual can.

Decisiveness
Last year, I received a lot of fortune-telling. Ah, of course it’s not like I believe it all-out. And well, from those, I was perceived to not have decisiveness. They really hit the nail on the head and I’ve had many regrets. That’s why, this year, I will make myself conscious of each and everything and hold the vision firmly. If I do this, I think I can be decisive.

Composing lyrics and music
I think I will compose lyrics and music this year! Although I love the solo songs「サムライ☆ラブ☆アタック」(Samurai☆Love☆Attack) and 「夏の場所」(Natsu no Basho)… it’d be great if I use my own words the next time opportunity comes along. After all, the best person to express yourself using a song is the person who knows yourself better than anyone else. If the song is completed, I want to present it during the concert!!

Actually, I have started on music composition little by little lately. Though I’m working on a PC, firstly I just take notes of the keywords that come to my mind. And, when I put the keywords in different tracks, the melody will come naturally. Even though I think there are few people who compose in such a way, it’s just typical me!?

Turning towards this spring I feel that it signs a good start. I’m really glad.
Today, unexpectedly, I happened to see a high school graduation ceremony.
While gathering with classmates at the front of the school gate, taking photos and receiving bouquets, everyone was with nice smiling faces~
Until here a warm feeling grew on me.
Next month is the season of school entrance ceremonies.
Spring has arrived~ I’m feeling excited.
Ahh! Speaking of spring••
It’s the season of Pollinosis. *
Pollinosis is really painful.
Eyes get itchy, sneezes and the running noses don’t stop.
From now on every year, when it comes to spring I wonder if it’ll become Pollinosis•••
I’m fearing that.
But! Even so I love the spring that makes one feel warm!! (laugh)
Also, although I think you’re checking it properly, Nakamaru-kun’s drama「RESCUE~Tokubetsu Koudo Kyuujotai」theme song 「RESCUE」is released tomorrow!
As the video clip is terrific, get the limited edition and replay it endlessly.
