here's translation of KAT-TUN's interview with Wink Up Oct mag courtesy of xmonster1603!
I won't post the entire interviews, but here's just some of Koki's portion from the interview:
TANAKA KOKI:
Do you usually buy things on impulse?
Very usually. Basically all of my clothes are bought that way. I would think “I will go to buy this” before going shopping, then end up buying a totally different thing. The price of things don’t matter that much to me. If I don’t buy the things I want I’ll regret later, so I will buy them no matter how expensive. Working with that kind of desperation is just the right thing for me. Anyway, keep on buying expensive stuffs is also a motive for me to work harder (laugh).
Something you’ve used for a long time and feel attached to
I don’t really have one… I’ve been using some of my furniture for a long time now, but that’s only because it’s a pain to replace them. There’s nothing I’ve used for a long time and feel attached to; maybe because for me, time really doesn’t matter that much. I do feel some attachment towards my car and my bike though, since both of them are the result of my manual work. You naturally would feel some sort of endearment towards the thing you’ve worked on, right? Because, after all, you’ve spent so much time tending to those things.
Your favorite space at home
The toilet and the bathtub. I don’t quite understand the reason either, but I like to spend time alone in narrow spaces. Years back, I used to squeeze myself into a stand and stay there reading manga. The lighting in my toilet is pink, and in the bathroom is blue. I’m not into taking a really long bath, but even though I only spend a short time there, the bathroom is my favorite space to relax. I don’t specially like any bath item and generally go with any kind of shampoo that has a nice smell. I also have some lavender-scented bathing powder just in case; I never use it though (laugh).
